The Z Hair Academy annual Student Showcase provides students with the opportunity to style models’ hair and makeup behind the scenes, gaining real-world runway experience. This special event gives students the chance to showcase their creativity and add to their portfolio of work, with the bonus that family and friends can attend and see their progress.

Z Hair Academy takes a personal interest in our graduates’ post-graduation path. Our annual Career Fair helps students find jobs after graduating from our program. Thirty to 40 salons attend this great event, allowing students to weigh their options, see what salons are out there, find the right fit for them, and network with salons.
Kansas City Fashion Week

Z Hair Academy students have the opportunity to participate in Kansas City Fashion Week. Students will experience the excitement of creating beautiful styles and the thrill of seeing the models going down the runway featuring their creative work. Students work cooperatively as a team in a real-world environment to truly try out their skills.
